Our Story Unfolds

Dream Differently began with one simple but powerful belief: children who experience the world differently deserve to see themselves reflected in it.

What started as a mission to create sensory-friendly learning tools has grown into something much bigger, a creative studio dedicated to telling stories that celebrate neurodivergent minds.

Today, Dream Differently creates animated stories, original songs, and beautifully illustrated books designed to support, empower, and represent children who think, feel, and process the world in unique ways. Our characters are inspired by real families, real challenges, and real strengths. They help children understand big feelings, navigate new experiences, and build confidence, all through storytelling that feels safe, relatable, and joyful.

We believe representation matters.
We believe accessibility matters.
And we believe stories can change the way children see themselves.
 

Through animation, music, and books, we aim to:

• Make learning and emotional growth engaging and sensory-considerate

• Give neurodivergent children characters they recognise in themselves

• Support parents and educators with tools that feel compassionate and practical

• Create conversations around inclusion in a way that feels hopeful and empowering

At its heart, Dream Differently exists to help children feel understood and to help families feel less alone.

Because when a child sees a character who thinks like them, moves like them, or feels like them, something powerful happens.

They realise they’re not “too much.”
They’re not “behind.”
They’re not “different” in a way that needs fixing.

They’re simply wired beautifully, in their own way.

And that’s something worth celebrating.
